Fantastic stay for 2 couples and a toddler. Had pack n play and high chair available. Pool is saltwater and a nice bonus. Wagon and beach chairs available. Walkable to downtown area (1 mile). Close to beach and public library which has a lovely children’s area.

We just got back from Angie’s Island Escape and it was fabulous! Everything about it was wonderful and well thought out! Loved the beach near by too it was a beautiful spot! When I booked I didn’t realize it was one of four units because I was rushing with my booking. We had just received a flight cancellation and needed a place asap and we got so lucky! That being said, don’t let that fool you it was very spacious. I point this out because it would make for a fantastic family reunion or just a spot with some friends where you can all be together but also have your own family time! The pool is shared and there’s an awesome game room downstairs! Everything you need for the beach is right there waiting for you! Again very well thought out! If we need a rental in Ft. Myers beach we will definitely be looking to book with Angie again! Thanks so much for our stay! Also such a pleasure to meet you too! Loved your home! Until next time!

Island Escape was a great stay for our family which included a two year old. The location is quiet and convenient. The beach is a 5 minute walk and there is a restaurant and food truck right around the corner.

El alojamiento es Angie fue perfecto para nuestra familia!! Tenía todo lo necesario para disfrutar en la casa, en la piscina y en la playa!! Angie siempre estuvo atenta a responder y ayudarnos. La casa estaba muy ordenada y limpia, y todo funcionó de maravilla. Realmente disfrutamos el área de esparcimiento y juegos en el primer piso, y sobretodo estar a 70 metros de la Playa!!!!! We were really happy with the location and the amenities at the place, especially all of the beach items we needed that we couldn’t have brought with us. The place itself was super clean and had items for our baby (pack n play and high chair) so that was great for us as well.

Angie’s place on FMB is clean and well located. It’s close to the beach and has a couple food options that are walkable. The entire building has 4 apartments and a shared pool at the back and a shared game room on the ground floor. Pool was clean and game room well equipped. The highlight for us was that the host provided a good amount of beach equipment- chairs, coolers, shovels, trolleys etc. which we used everyday. The only thing to mind is that the kitchen had no condiments / coffee (host alluded to a township rule) - however there’s a Publix store half a mile away, so wasn’t a major concern. Overall a great place to stay at a fair budget.

We have 5 kids and this place fit us perfectly. The apartment was clean and spacious. The walk to the beach is the real selling point. Just as described she had wagons, beach chairs, and coolers available. The pool and shared spaces were similar to being in a hotel or condo. I will note that while inside our unit we never heard the others. One family was worried we heard their baby up in the night, but we didn't and i was worried our crew was too loud in the pool but no one heard us :) this is great, because no one wants to be tiptoeing on their vacation. The inside is simple, tastefully decorated, and recently updated. Thanks for helping us have a relaxing vacation.

Our family of 7 loved our time here. The host had thought of everything like extra beach towels, chairs, sand toys, wagons, and more. We enjoyed the ping pong and the pool the most. The space was so beautifully decorated. We loved how close the house was to the local grocery store and to the restaurants. What an incredible experience.

This was our 2nd year staying at this location and we were once again very pleased. Angie is great with communication. She is around when there are issues, but not in an intrusive way. Recommend renting bikes for the week to have full access to the island without the pains of traffic!

We have stayed at Angie's for two summers in July. She is a wonderful hostess. The place has a classy beach vibe, is very clean, great pool out back, outdoor grill, wonderful kitchen, lovely bathrooms, great downstairs family fun area with washer and dryer! (A must for a family with baseball kids). It is just steps away from a peaceful beach with amazing sunrise on the water and sunsets. We saw dolphins in morning and evening. Sea turtle nests and trails are visible. Grocery is half a mile a way. Mom's diner (now a food truck) half mile a way for best cinnamon rolls in the world. If I could live in this unit for real life I would! Thank you, Angie! Can't wait to come back!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Angie’s place. It was beautifully decorated, had very comfortable beds, had all the supplies and equipment you needed for your stay, and had all the beach equipment you could need as well. It was within walking distance to a very beautiful beach where my daughters enjoyed finding many shells!

this home and location was perfect for our family beach vacation. even though the house has 4 units and a shared pool, it felt like a private home. we never crossed paths with the other guests. we enjoyed the rec area and pool all to ourselves at our convenience. the walk to the beach was easy, just a couple blocks away. the beach had soft sand and great shells. the condos and hotels are still being fixed after the hurricane, but honestly, it was great because it felt like we were on a private beach. there were was not a lot of people. the accommodations made us feel right at home. the beds were so comfortable it was almost difficult to get up in the morning. my favorite thing was having access to the wagons and beach chairs. that was super convenient, made our walk to the beach even easier and it was the amenity that sold me on this particular rental. we would definitely recommend angie's place!!

We had a great stay. Gorgeous weather in a beautiful home. Exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed and then some. Convenient location - we rented bikes, which was a fun and easy to way to get around. The pool was lovely and being able to walk to the beach was so nice. We could see the ocean from our 2nd floor apt. Game room was fun and there was plenty of hanging out space for 3 teenagers. We had never been to the area but we could appreciate how FMB is rebuilding and moving forward after the hurricane 1.5 years ago. We hope to come back again to watch this lovely place continue to grow.

Our family had a great time at Island escape. It had all the amenities needed for our family and made us very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck with patio couches and the pool was great. It was also very convenient having beach access so close and all the beach gear that was provided/available to use was a huge plus.

Angie's place was just like the description. Very clean, beautiful and tasteful decor, kitchen was stocked with all the amenities, beds were very comfortable, showers and water pressure was good and the washer and dryer looked brand new. The pool was great, the building is a four-plex type of layout so the pool is a shared space as well as the garage area where the rec room is, which was very nice and clean. Even though we had neighbors we still had a private outdoor space with a couch and chairs. We walked to the beach which was very close and Angie provided wagons, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels for a great and comfortable time on the beach. She even walked over and said hello to us and introduced herself. I will definitely stay at Angie's place again when visiting Fort Myers beach.

Excellent second floor spacious condo. Great location. 5 minutes walk to an amazing beach. This condo was renovated from A to Z. This condo in real life is even better than what you see on the pictures in description. Angie is a great host! I am definitely coming back.

Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful location. Area is still recovering from hurricane but it is still a nice vacation spot. Awesome fishing guide available locally with Livin’ the Dream LLC, plenty of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Host provides everything you could possibly need for the trip; beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach wagons, large beach towels and a game room and pool for relaxing at home. Truly feels like a home away from home!!!

Beautiful space close to the beach with everything you could need. The pull out bed was very uncomfortable but that was to be expected. The Murphy bed was great. Walkable to beach with beach wagons, umbrellas, chairs and coolers for use. Trolly stop on the corner takes you right to the downtown area with many restaurants, bars and live music.

We enjoyed this place so much. It was quiet yet close to restaurants and a short walk to the beach with everything you need including a cooler, chairs, umbrella and wagon to put it in. It was pristinely cleaned and we were able to get to all the places we wanted to visit in a short amount of time so the location is perfect. I had the pleasure of meeting Angie and she was the perfect host! We will be back.

We had such an amazing stay at FMB. The house is pristine - everything is new and clean. The walk to the beach was super simple and really was about 5 mins to hit the sand. Highly recommend! Angie was a great host - friendly, responsive, accommodating. Would love to return and will definitely look to rent here again! Beach was wonderful- great shells!

We had a wonderful stay at Angie's place! The space was absolutely immaculate and decorated so beautifully. All of the furnishings and beds were very comfortable and we felt right at home in the quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We had neighbors (this is a space with several units) but everyone was very respectful and surprisingly we had the pool and game room to ourselves every time we used them. The pool was clean and so nice to use in the evenings. The beach was a very easy walk and Angie made things even easier by having wagons, chairs, coolers, and beach towels available! This was SO nice as it allowed us to just fly in with our carry ons. Absolutely beautiful beach where we found amazing shells, saw beautiful sunsets, and made the best memories. Seeing FMB and the lingering damage and devastation from hurricane Ian was very humbling. So glad some restaurants were reopened and we were able to support some local businesses. Highly recommended Angie's place if you're in the area!

We enjoyed our week. Angie is a great host! Place is exactly as described. Close distance to the beach. We did not use the pool but it is very nice. We loved having the game room to play in the evenings. We found enough restaurants open nearby that had great food with no waits. There is definitely a rebuilding happening since the hurricane but you can still find plenty to do nearby .

There are two parts of this review because i want to paint a full picture. Part 1. Condo is as described. Updated, clean spacious , great pool and fully stocked as far as dishes and tupperware. Also provided are beach chairs, beach cart and umbrellas. Garage also is a nice touch for families with young kids. Location is also great since is located across the beach so it is a short walk to the beach. Angie is a great communicator Part 2. Fort Meyers beach was severely impacted by the hurricane and the signs are very present and visible. Although strides have been made it is a looooong way from being back to normal. Beach is nice but water is murky and not clear. Area lacks a lot of necessities and very little other than hanging out at the beach. Tourists and beachgoers are scarce. Nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves and made the best of our time but be prepared to plan accordingly and do your research. We ventured out to nearby Naples and Bonita Springs, Marco Island and such.

Still much recovery going on in the area after Ian. But the grocery is open and a short walk drive. Every thing you need is provided by Angie!

This place is stunning!!! The newly renovated, beautifully decorated apartment was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway to Ft. Myers. The beach is only a block away, and Angie provides all of the equipment necessary (beach wagon, chairs, towels, etc) for you to pop over to the beach whenever the mood hits. The area is still very much still recovering from last year's hurricane, but there is a brand-new grocery store down the street and we were also able to find several restaurants a short drive away. The house also has a wonderful pool and a garage that doubles as a game room. We hope to come back soon!

We stayed at this property for a Memorial Day Weekend with another family and the place was just like in the pictures. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the living room was the perfect place to have a movie night with our kids, the pool in the property was amazing and we were able to use their gas grill for a nice dinner. The place was a short 5min. walk to the beach, and a short drive to all the local restaurants, bars and shops! Can't wait to stay here again! Thank you!

The condo is amazing. Large, clean, beautiful pool, and close to the beach. Our beach access was shut down due to construction on the beach - I wish we had known that. We drove to another beach. Traffic in the area is really bad. But the condo itself was perfect.

The property is true to the pictures shown. Very clean! There were plenty of beach chairs, coolers, toys, etc available for use. It is within walking distance to the beach (but you do need to cross the main road if your hands are full). I would definitely stay at this property again!

We stayed at this apartment for 6 nights with 4 adults and 2 children and it was perfect for us! The inside is very open and clean. Has all the amenities you could need. You have 2 furnished balconies to yourself and a fantastic heated pool to share with the other units. We usually had the pool to ourselves. Has onsite laundry and all the equipment you need to take to the beach. In walking distance to all the action on Estero beach and the awesome restaurants. Will definitely recommend this apartment to friends traveling to Fort Myers Beach.
