The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean! The beds were welcoming after long days at the beach and the appliances worked perfectly. The bathrooms were updated and there was plenty of hot water for the 5 of us! The pool was the perfect temperature to feel refreshed after swimming in the gulf in August. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch after the sun was lower in the western sky. I will stay with Angie when we come back!

Angie’s place was exactly as shown. Easy walking to the beach and very clean!! She popped in for a short minute to make sure all was going great. Very friendly!! There was 6 of us staying and all loved her place. Would definitely stay here again!!

Angie was super helpful and stopped by our first morning to make sure we had everything that we needed, as well as let us know what local activities were happening that weekend. The place was great, well stocked, we loved the pool, and the chairs/beach items were a lifesaver! Only a block walk to the beach, which was never crowded, and a nice quiet neighborhood. The location of this home was absolutely amazing. Your within a block of the beach and there is a beautiful library very close as well for the kids. The area was rebuilding from the hurricane and there was a lot activities to do. The home and game room were great and matched the photo’s. My husband and I spent one week at this beautiful place. We really enjoyed the time in Angie’s apartment! The patio and pool area were amazing and you could move from one pretty place to the next even prettier . The Neighbourhood is very quiet and only steps away from the beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I know so far. Beach chairs are available for relaxing hours on the beach. I had an issue with the mattress and Angie managed to change it on the same day, which I appreciate a lot. I will stay there couldn’t have been any better, the apartment was huge and very clean. The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean! The beds were welcoming after long days at the beach and the appliances worked perfectly. The bathrooms were updated and there was plenty of hot water for the 5 of us! The pool was the perfect temperature to feel refreshed after swimming in the gulf in August. We visit Fort Myers often and usually stay with family or hotels since we find that Airbnb's quality can vary from listing to listing - but so glad we gave this one a try - it did not disappoint! The condo was clean, well-maintained, and in a super convenient location. The beach equipment was a huge plus and had everything we needed. The condo we were in is part of a quadplex style so it's perfect if we travel with more family--we can all stay together but still have our own separate space. The pool and game room are shared spaces with just the other 3 units-- we didn't use the pool since we were mostly at the beach and at my in-laws pool, but good to note if there's a strong preference. It was a great stay and we plan to book again for future visits. Angie was an excellent host and responsive. We had a power outage during our stay and Angie was immediately following up with Florida power and had multiple crews come out to resolve the issue. The place was immaculate and spotless. Angie’s place was great! Very cute and clean! Walkable to the beach. Wagon, cooler and beach chairs provided for use by owner. Circumstances outside of Angie’s control included a lot of construction on and off the beach. Otherwise, everything was perfect! Very nice place with all the amenities one would want for a beach apartment. Great layout, nice furniture, kitchen and baths. However, the beds were inadequate and this is a requirement in a place that charges $300/night. Also, hot water is on demand and has issues. Super clean apartment, which I greatly appreciate. Angie was very helpful and responsive. 5 minute walk to the beach, lots of beach amenities (wagon, cooler, chairs, umbrella etc.) Quiet, couldn’t hear our neighbors. Pool was clean and fun! There is a trick to keeping warm water in the shower, you have to run the bathroom sink faucet a tiny bit on hot to keep the shower water warm. Angie was very helpful and responsive. We met her during our stay, and she was extremely friendly and provided good recommendations about the island and things to do. The location is really good, close enough to everything but also far enough away for privacy and family time. Renting bikes was a great recommendation from Angie - very inexpensive and probably the best way to navigate the island during your stay. The pool is great for kids and adults and the game room is a nice touch for some family competition! The location is great and there is a tram that goes regularly around town that can be utilized daily. Beds were average comfort. Occasional light flickers and spotty hot water when showering due to tankless design. Good location, nice and spacious place. Only issue was the hot water while taking a shower. It would randomly go really hot or really cold after a few minutes. This happened without any changes and nobody else was running the water from a different faucet. Very unpleasant experience in that regard. Island Gold is a great place to stay. The apartment is very clean and the beds are comfortable. There are four units in the building and they all share a pool. There isn't a lot of space around the pool if all the units were occupied and using the pool. However, the unit overall is a great place to stay with easy access to the beach. Angie was a super host! Unfortunately our stay was the week between hurricane Helene and Milton. The city was just cleaning up after Helene and then preparing for Milton. There were workers at the house all week and the pool wasn’t available for a few days, but Angie was very responsive and gave us access to the pool next door. Pros: beautifully renovated and perfect for my family of four, close walk to the beach, game room is great and pool was fun for my kids. Also, loved that they have a wagon and chairs for you to use for the beach. Definitely helped out not having to pack chairs and a wagon. Cons: there are 4 total units in this place which means 4 units share a pool and game room which is not stated in the listing description, the pictures actually show 2 units so that is very deceiving. The lights flicker in the house a lot, hot water takes a long time to heat in the shower. Lastly, my son lost his phone and we looked over 2 hours for it and we found out from another renter the cleaner took my kids phone. No one notified me and I was not happy. No one notified me and I was not happy. We would have never found the phone if my husband didn’t ask another renter. Besides the issues we had here we loved this area and will definitely be back. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The walk to the beach was easy, and all the beach gear available for us to use was icing on the cake! Angie was a wonderful hostess. Very responsive. I was worried about sharing the washer and dryer with the other units, but it was so easy. Easy to access right from each unit, and we never really had to wait. The pool was impeccable, a great size and a ton of fun after a hot day on the beach! I can't say enough about how great this unit is. It is spacious and beautifully decorated. The short walk/bike ride to the beach is great. The Free trolley stop at the end of the street was really helpful. The pool was warm and provided hours of fun and sun for our grandchildren. The game room came in very handy on a rainy day while we did laundry. Angie is the best! My wife had a hard time figuring out the code to open the door on arrival and Angie quickly responded to help. Condo was very nice. Lovely master bedroom and bath, as well as the 2nd bedroom. It was nice to find chairs and beach stuff in the downstairs laundry and rec room. The laundry downstairs was excellent, and like new washer and dryers. The proximity to the beach was acceptable, except that there were no public restrooms at the beach, and the beach was filled with beach debris, and a large pipe that you had to climb over to gain access. I would say that the only other negative factor would be the massive amounts of traffic. If you come and go in the evening, expect several hours of traffic time. I doesn’t reflect my rating on this condo in the massive traffic backups, because two of the major bridges close by are both being reconstructed, so it’s in no way any fault of the owners.- Cheryl P. , Posted:
Property was very clean, well decorated, quiet neighborhood. Loved the screen porch to read a book or to just enjoy the calming breeze. I would have liked a light over the sink for the kitchen when cooking. Understand there is a reason for the lights flickering but it was unfortunate. Our family of 5 from Michigan (kids 7,11,13) stayed for 7 days in one of the upstairs units. Everything from the check-in process to the check-out process was well prepared. The property was very clean and well equipped inside and outside. The pool, the playroom and the 3min walk to the amazing beach left no time to be bored.
