Our family of 4 stayed over spring break. The space was just right for us - we spent most of our time out at the beach or on the water but it was nice to have this lower level unit to come back for a break. The kids enjoyed the pool area (shared by 4 units but we almost always had it to ourselves). We cooked a couple of meals in the unit and found the essentials we needed. Bed and sleeper sofa were reasonably comfortable. It was easy to adjust the thermostat and both rooms had ceiling fans. Owner was friendly and responsive. Unit was clean and considering what the island went through a few years back things seem to be in good shape. It’s about a mile walk down to Times Square area restaurants but not too bad. We prefer to be away from the crowds so this location was perfect. Easy close beach access and definitely a quieter section of the beach. We would definitely consider staying again!

Angie’s place was perfect for me, my husband, and toddler. Her place had everything we needed and was super clean. Beautifully decorated and felt modern and comfortable. The outdoor amenities were fantastic. Only critique is could use some more hooks on the walls or places to put bags.

Not a fan. Won't be back. The cancellation 'policy' for this host and Air BnB make hotels the better option. Air BnB moved from the top of my list to the bottom because of this experience. I hope Angie and Air BnB feel like they made the right call for this situation, despite the fact that no worthwhile business would treat customers this way.

Christopher booked and then wanted to cancel after the clearly stated cancelation period had closed. I offered to provide a full refund if he chose to cancel and the apartment rebooked. Christopher opted to keep his reservation and stayed at this lovely rental. Additionally you rated me 1 star for communications and indicated slow response time. I just checked each and every one of my response times to your messages. Most were under 6 minutes and my longest response time took 29 minutes. Is that poor in your view? I pride myself on outstanding service and response times. I am sorry I fell short in your view.

We loved our stay at Angie’s place! The place was very clean and easily walkable to the beach. A beach wagon, chairs and towels were provided to make our beach days perfect. Angie was also very responsive when we noticed a loose towel rack at check-in. The handyman had it fixed within the hour! She was even helpful when we thought we had left a jewelry case there. We stayed for 2 weeks. Great location. Just across the street to the beach and nice quiet neighborhood. Other residents in the area were friendly and easy to talk to . Really enjoyed being about a mile to the Square. Trolley to the square runs every 15 minutes and is close to the Airbnb. We will be back. Keith and Sherry from Iowa.

Loved our stay at Angie’s Island Tuckaway. Just enough space for the three of us. Beach is right across the street, the town square is a short walk away. We love visiting Ft. Myers Beach and would definitely stay here again! \n\nOur space was very clean, the neighborhood was safe and anything we needed was walking distance away. Plenty of beach towels and sand toys to use. Easy access to laundry, if needed. We traveled with our young son and he had a blast!

What a find! Great location, wonderful layout and amenities and exceedingly clean. Angie was awesome! Wonderful directions, super responsive and so helpful. The apartment was wonderful and the outdoor space was absolutely perfect. I loved the little patio to the side and sat out almost every night reading. Just an overall wonderful experience

We had the BEST experience at Angie's! The apartment is so cute, looks exactly like the photos, and was probably the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Angie is a fantastic and very thoughtful host. She helped accommodate my mother and I on short notice and made sure all of our needs were met. The apartment is steps away from the beach, but I cannot say enough about the lanai with the pool!! My mother had a blast exploring Ft. Myers, and I had the most peaceful and serene experience working remotely out on the lanai. Our stay was a 10/10, and I could not recommend this apartment enough. Thank you so much for having us, Angie!!

This was our 2nd time staying in the first floor Tuckaway! Perfect location--easy walk to the beach. It is a 33 minute walk (or few minutes drive) to the grocery store. Pool area shared by 4 families. Excellent large laundry (2 washers, 2 dryers in the shared garage turned game room), plenty of beach chairs, wagons to haul to the beach, 4 beach towels. If you plan on cooking, bring baggies or storage containers. There is one small oven-safe baking dish, no lid, two lidded glass storage containers, several stovetop pots and pans. Salt and pepper were in the kitchen but no oil. Plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll paper towels, dishwasher pods provided. Bring laundry detergent. Angie is very responsive. A disappointment was the fluctuating water temperature in the shower. I saw two other reviews mention this. I asked about it last year and it is the same a year later. It alternates cold, hot, just right. It was a game to play, but we got used to it.

Our stay on Fort myers beach was all that I hoped for. The location was right by the beach yet the culdesac was secluded from the traffic noise. The condo was well decorated and offered all that we needed including a wagon, chairs and coolers for the beach. We could pretty much walk to all places. Would highly recommend!

Had a great stay just a block off the beach in FMB. The place was very clean well equipped. Pool and rec area was great and we used both a lot. Everything about the stay went smoothly, Angie was helpful and responded to answer questions. There are a couple quirks with the hot water and lights but once you know how they work it wasn’t a problem. Would certainly stay here again!

Angie’s place was clean, pretty, very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were immaculate. Bed comfortable. Pool is very nice- nicer than it looks in the pictures. We visited in early February. Be aware that staying on the island involves traffic issues!

This is a great property one block from Ft Meyers beach. It is all freshly remodeled, very clean, and has all the necessities. The only drawback to the property is the pool area is tight when most of the guests are out there. My wife and I would definitely rent this unit and/or from Angie again...Thanks!!

The Airbnb is in a great location where it’s very walkable to the beach and some local food trucks/trailers, and there were all the fixings for a beach trip as well! Although the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay for much walking, it was close enough to drive to some further restaurants as well. She was quick and responsive when the hair dryer broke and had a replacement the next day! The hot water took awhile to get warm and only lasted long enough for one of us to take a quick shower but just had to space out our showers. Generally the area is still recovering from the hurricane and there isn’t much to do if it’s not warm out, but I think we had an off week during a cold front so is probably more alive when it’s nice out! The food at the local trucks is still really great, just have to do take out or sit outside if it’s warm enough at one of their table areas.

We stayed at Angie's darling Island Tuckaway unit in Ft Myers Beach for 1 week in Mid January! Although the island was still recovering from the latest hurricanes, we were able to spend time on the beach every day, and enjoyed so many local restaurants. An added bonus is how close the trolly stop is from Angie's place! Just a short walk down the street!! The unit was darling, it had everything we needed and more! The master had a nice closet and plenty of space for your clothes, the ceiling fan made sleeping so pleasant, and the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows! The outside living space was awesome, featuring a private sitting area, dining space and grill. The shared pool was so relaxing and was a comfortable temperature even in January! The game room/laundry was such a great use of space! There was plenty of wagons, and beach chairs for everyone! You won't be disappointed! We will stay again, next time we come to Ft Myers Beach! Thank you for everything, Angie!

I gave Angie’s place the highest reviews and it truly deserves it. I loved the stay here, the place is exactly what is portrayed in the pictures, the apartment was SO clean, so beautifully organized, and literally felt like home. The decor is also so the perfect balance of hotel but also cozy/ fresh aesthetic. The pool is warm and very clean. You can tell Angie treats this place like it’s her apartment, and ensures that guests have everything they need to make it feel not just like a place to sleep, but a home! She has a little booklet of instructions, and recommendations for nearby things to do, and it was so helpful. She’s also very friendly and responsive at any time during the day. Without hesitation, this place will be my go to for anytime I go to fort myers. Matter of fact, I will go out of my way to go to fort myers for this place.

Angie’s place was just as described. It was perfect for our mother-daughter getaway. The pool was amazing, the bed was comfy with wonderful linens, and the condo was very clean and beautifully decorated. The walk to the beach was a short distance. We got to meet Angie, and she is very friendly. She’s very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Island Tuckaway at the Beach was a great choice, and I would definitely book with Angie again!

This was one of the best air b&b's I've stayed in! The property and space were very clean and well maintained. It really is a short 4 to 5 minute walk from the beach! Angie provides plenty of rolling ice chests, rolling carts, and chairs. I was impressed with the amenities on the property. Parking was right in front of the air b&b and the washers and dryers are in the game room right by the entrance to the units. The pool was very nice and screened in. Each unit has a private screened in patio too. There are 4 units but we hardly saw the other guests. We loved the beaches in Fort Myers and the shelling! I recommend going shelling at low tide (early morning or evening) for the best shells. Angie was very quick to respond to any messages that I sent her. We were really close to grocery stores, Walmart, and restaurants. However, we chose to cook at the air b&b most nights. I can't say enough nice things about this place and our experience in Fort Myers!

Desperate to get out of a downtown Airbnb property we booked at 11:00 pm and Angie responded within minutes and booked us for five days the next morning, very accommodating! This cute little apartment was perfect for our mother-daughter getaway! It is close to the beach and great restaurants! The pool had sun all day! Angie’s place was PERFECT! From booking to check out, we couldn’t have asked for better. We wanted a relaxing week and that is exactly what we had. A very short walk to the beach, Angie had carts and chairs, coolers and even a fishing pole. We had a catch every cast. After the beach it became ritual for a cocktail and a dip, most days with our neighbors from the unit upstairs. The pool was great, refreshing but not too cold. The bed was soooo comfy, and we appreciated getting to wash our laundry before coming home. Angie’s place is A++ in our book, and we will be back! Great host, great place! Check out Dixie’s Fish Company—- best food!

My daughter and I enjoyed a get away to Angie’s place for spring break. The goal was to hit the beach every day, but the first day we were met with a ton of rain, but the best part was the heated pool made for a great warm dip on a cold rainy day! The apartment was very clean and inviting! Both rooms have wall ac units which illuminate pretty brightly at night so if you are sensitive to light when trying to sleep I would recommend bringing a face mask. The bed and couch were pretty comfortable to sleep on, and the outdoor porch was a great quiet spot to enjoy your morning coffee. I would recommend Angie’s place!

Perfect for 2 people! Terrific outdoor pool area. 1-2 block easy walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of games available. If you plan on cooking, bring baggies or storage containers. We cooked and needed those. There is one small oven-safe baking dish, no lid. Several stovetop pots and pans, a few bowls, but most without lids. Salt and pepper were in the kitchen but no other spices or oil. Plenty of plates, bowls, glasses. 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, dish soap, hand soap, 5 dishwasher tablets, 3 garbage bags, travel size shampoo set provided. Bring your own laundry detergent. We would definitely stay again!

Great place with lots of amenities. Well equipped to a high standard. Very clean and well prepared for guests to stay. Angie was so friendly and helpful. Genuinely wanted to ensure that we were happy and to offer helpful suggestions. As the location is mid island, the area was just right for us. Not busy or crowded. The apartment had everything we needed and the owner seemed to go the extra mile with additional amenities such as carts and beach equipment. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is looking for a boot hole by the beach.

Perfect place to stay! Angie was very accommodating and responsive. This unit has a total of 4 rentals and even though the pool and game area in the garage are shared we felt that it was very private and comfortable, most of the time we used these areas we did not see any of the other renters. She also provides plenty of beach accessories, like chairs and wagons. The available washer and dryers also such a great amenity. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Angie was a great host, she gave clear directions very proactive with information. The place is just as described my only cons were the mosquitos so bring bug spray and if you stay on the bottom level you can every foot step that walked across the floor. Other than that I loved it and I would recommend it and I would stay there again.

We had a great trip to Ft Myers and really enjoyed our stay at Angie’s place. The place was conveniently located near the beach with only a small walk to it. We really enjoyed the taco stand down at the end of the street as well. The beaches were beautiful and we spent each night watching the sunset out front. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back!

Angie’s place was clean and had wonderfully thought out and beautiful touches. Location is right across the street from beach and served as an easy commute to and from the local baseball stadiums our son was playing in. The property is a quadplex not a duplex as I had wrongly assumed but there is more than enough spaces on the property to relax privately. We were taken aback at the devastation around the area with the local businesses and housing but was inspired at the creativity some had shown to attempt to serve the community and its visitors. It was a pleasure communicating with Angie and we were grateful to spend time in her home!

The property was clean and well equipped for our stay. We were in the lower left unit. There is a common games room, a very nice pool and a more private sitting area. There were also chairs, wagons and coolers to take to the beach. The interior of the unit was virtually brand new, had everything we needed to cook and two good Roku TV systems. The location is on a quiet cull du sac and is ideal for a short two block walk to the huge beach area and only a 20 minute walk to the main downtown area. There is still a lot of hurricane damage in and around the Fort Myers beach area being repaired but this did not detract from the stay. We would definitely come here again

This was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend. I especially liked the pool and the proximity to the beach. The location also had a really great selection of beach equipment such as chairs, beach towels, and coolers. It was also nice that they had a little table set up in the common area for guests to leave extra stuff that they weren’t able to take it home with them so I benefited from that while I was there and left some things behind for other guests when I left. The game room was nice to have as well! The bed and the couch were both comfortable. The unit was extremely clean and well stocked. My only note would be that if you’re a light sleeper, that this is a downstairs unit and you can hear footsteps upstairs from other guests (if that unit is rented). For me, this was not a big deal. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
